Fi Morris

Fi Morris is one of England’s best uncapped players currently playing the game with more than 4,000 runs and 200 wickets in the two white ball formats in county and franchise cricket.

Her county career began with Oxfordshire in 2008 and has included two spells with Gloucestershire followed by stints with Berkshire, Hampshire and Lancashire which have tied in with her commitments with Southern Vipers, Western Storm, Welsh Fire and Manchester Originals in the Women’s Hundred.

The growth and increase in popularity in women’s cricket has led to more opportunities for talented female players to dedicate themselves to cricket through full-time contracts and Fi is one of them.

A canny off-spinner and effective batter, Fi was the first bowler to take a five wicket haul in the Women’s Hundred with her remarkable figures of five for seven against Birmingham Phoenix in the 2023 edition being a competition record.

Fi made a century for Gloucestershire against Oxfordshire in a List A match at Charlbury in 2011 and took six for 35 for Thunder against The Blaze in another List A match at Sale in 2024.

Born in Reading and educated at Exeter University, Fi toured South Africa with England Under-19s in the winter of 2013/14 having played for England Under-19s and England Academy against Pakistan on home soil in 2012.

Fi’s cricketing CV also includes runners-up medals with Exeter University in the 2015 British Universities and Colleges Sport final and with Southern Brave in the Women’s Hundred final in 2021.
